Local 63 Executive Board Nominations

Dear Brothers, Sisters & Kin,

Please be advised that our next General Meting, which has been moved to Monday, November 10th, 2025, the nominations for all positions on the Executive Board for Local 63 will be accepted. The meeting will commence at 5:00 PM (Note Change) & not 5:30 PM. To be nominated, there must be a nominator and a seconder for every nomination. Also, the nominators must be "in good standing" and the proposed candidate must also be "in good standing". Also, no one will be allowed into the meeting if they are not "in good standing". Please reference the Constitution and By-Laws of Local 63 for the term "in good standing".

The Executive Board positions up for election are:

President,

Vice President

Secretary, Treasurer

Call Steward-Business agent

Two (2) members-at-large

One (1) Labour delegate

Three (3) members to sit as the Board of Trustees.

These positions are a three-year term. All persons nominated must either be in attendance at the meeting or must have submitted a letter to the Secretary stating that they will accept the nomination and in that letter must state the position that they are accepting the nomination for. That letter o f acceptance must b e received by the Secretary no later than noon on November 10, 2025 - the day of the next General Meeting. Propaganda from nominees must be in the hands of the Secretary by November 24, 2025 in order to be distributed to the membership in the appropriate amount of time before the election. The propaganda must be accompanied with a payment in the amount of twenty dollars($20.00).

Please also note that the Election Day will be the Monday before the December General Meeting. Since the General Meeting will be held Tuesday, December 9*, 2025, therefore, the election will be held Monday, December 8th, 2025. All voting will be done on that date.
